Water District 19 provides water to 1421 accounts on Vashon-Maury Island, located southwest of Seattle in Puget Sound. The service area encompasses six square miles, and includes the island's population center, the town of Vashon.

Source water comes from a deep well field and two creeks. Surface water is pumped to the District's treatment plant before being piped to customers via a one million gallon storage tank.

The District is served by a staff of seven and overseen by a three-member elected board of commissioners.
